We developed Hashphrase so that it can be used by anyone, on any mobile device. The app was developed for security-conscious folks but in today’s climate everyone should take their privacy and security seriously. We wanted an app that could allow us to pair that one password we have already memorized with another piece of information to generate a unique password for every account, reducing the risk of the accounts being compromised.
Hashphrase works by taking two inputs from you -- a master password and an account nickname -- and creates a unique password using a hashing algorithm.
The benefit of using Hashphrase is that you can regenerate your passwords when you need them without worrying about having your passwords stored on a server like other password managers.
